Nandamuri Kalyan Ram starrer Amigos has hit the screens across the globe today.Written and directed by Rajendra Reddy, in Amigos played triple role.
The film revolves around doppelganger concept. Amigos started with the character introduction of a real estater named Sidharth, who crosses paths with lookalike guys Manjunath Hegde and Michael. While Manjunath hails from Bengaluru, Michael is showcased as a guy from Kolkata.
Though the set and Kalyan Ram’s makeover in three different dimensions is impressive, the lack of high moments in the film comes as a major minus for the film. Adding to it, uneven narrative and not so gripping climax portions come as a defect for the film. Despite loopholes, Amigos is surely a one-time watch during this weekend.
Meanwhile, the latest we hear is that digital giant Netflix has acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights of Amigos. Reportedly, the OTT platform acquired the rights by offering a fancy price. As per our sources, Netflix management might go for the digital streaming of Amigos in the first week of March.
Amigos also has actor Brahmaji in a key role. Bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, Amigos has its music by Ghibran. S Sundar Rajan is the cinematographer for the movie. Kannada beauty Ashika Ranganath did the female lead role in this stylish actioner.
