Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming film Fighter, directed by Puri Jagannadh, is making the noise in Tollywood. Recently, the makers took to social media to reveal that nearly half of the film has been completed. The film’s lead pair, Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday, are camping in Mumbai to shoot the film. A couple of days ago, there were reports doing the rounds that director Puri Jagannadh has been in talks with American’s boxing legend Mike Tyson to play a pivotal role in the film. However, rumours are rife that Mike Tyson will not be a part of Fighter for unknown reasons.
As reported earlier, Vijay Deverakonda is essaying the role of a boxer in the film. He undertook boxing lessons to polish his skills so that he can perform his role with perfection. Fighter is touted to be a boxing-based script that will release in five languages namely, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. The film is jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur and Karan Johar. The film will mark Vijay Deverakonda’s debut in Hindi and Ananya Panday’s debut in Telugu. There’s been a lot of expectation surrounding the film, which is all set to hit the theatres towards the end of this year.
