Sunny Deol was taken aback when she learned Ameesha Patel’s response to the rumored response and what she thought of her comments.
The pairing of Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel was arguably the most out-of-the-ordinary in Indian cinema history, but it was also one of the most successful on-screen pairings with incredible chemistry, which did wonders for their movie Gadar. Their awkward but genuine chemistry attracted so much attention that it once gave rise to allegations that the performers were having an affair.
Ameesha Patel, on the other hand, found the rumor to be really confusing and unsettling. She was once questioned about it in an interview, and since she was tired of the rumors of an affair, she responded to the suggestion that she was dating the Gadar actor in a strange and cold way.
After the movie was successful, Sunny Deol went down for a lengthy interview with Filmfare, during which he was informed of what Ameesha had said to the public regarding their supposed liaison. Ameesha Patel said, “Linking me with Sunny is like linking me to a wall,” the interviewer reported to Sunny Deol. What do you think of that statement?

Gadar, which debuted in 2001 and is regarded as a classic in Indian cinema history, is for the uninitiated. Ameesha Patel was an interesting second choice for the role in the movie. Many of the leading ladies at the time, including Kajol, apparently received the offer. In a 2017 interview, director Anil Sharma said, “I had sought a number of prominent actresses at the time; Neelam was unquestionably not one of them. Every one of them struggled with something. Others didn’t like us, and some people didn’t enjoy the story. Some people didn’t want to make historical films because they had their own personal agendas.
Gadar 2 preparations are now being made by Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel. They appear in the movie alongside Utkarsh Sharma, a child who was 7 years old when he played their son in Gadar and is now 29.
