“Amaran” is one of the biggest Kollywood hits this year. Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi acting has been praised a lot.
The movie is based on the life story of Major Mukund Varadarajan. However the team received a legal notice from a student.
The student complained that her mobile number was used in the film without her permission and is asking for Rs 1.1 crores as compensation. In one scene Sai Pallavi throws a paper with the phone number written on it.
The student said she has been getting many calls since the movie’s release. Fans mistakenly think the number belongs to Sai Pallavi and keep calling her.
The film team hasn’t responded to this issue yet. The movie is directed by Rajkumar Periasamy and also a big hit in Telugu.
