Amaal Mallik has announced a break from Bollywood music and said he will not take up film projects until 2027.
The composer is currently enjoying the success of Awarapan 2 with fans praising his music including the new version of “Toh Phir Aao”.
Despite the film’s positive response, Amaal has decided to step away from cinema and focus on his health and well being. He said he needs time to rest, recover and return with fresh music for sure.
Amaal also revealed that some of his unreleased songs from smaller films could be released soon. However he is unsure about the future of those projects.
Fans have welcomed his decision and sent him messages of support, asking him to take care of himself and return when ready.
