Stylish Star Allu Arjun is currently busy shooting for director Sukumar’s Pushpa: The Rise. The shooting for the second part of the film wouldn’t begin until mid-2022, before which Bunny intends to complete another film. Until recently, it was speculated and almost confirmed that he would finish shooting for Venu Sriram’s Icon. However, the latest reports suggest that the film has yet again been shelved for reasons that haven’t been disclosed.
Sources now say that Bunny has almost locked director Boyapati Sreenu’s film, which he intends to begin after completing Pushpa: The Rise, and after getting into the required look. However, it is being said that Bunny is awaiting the release of Boyapati’s upcoming film Akhanda before he gives his final confirmation for the film.
Boyapati has teamed up for the third time with Nandamuri Balakrishna for Akhanda, after delivering blockbuster hits like Simha and Legend in the past. There are huge expectations on the film, whose teaser and other promotional material has been very well received by the audiences. The official release date of Akhanda is yet to be announced.
