Stylish Star Allu Arjun is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film Pushpa, directed by Sukumar, and produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The film is being made in two parts, where the first part is scheduled to release for Christmas this year, and the second part is scheduled to release next year.
Allu Arjun will be seen as a sandalwood smuggler in the film, who then is reported to turn into a son in the second part of the film. Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil is playing the lead antagonist in the film, and the first part is expected to end on a cliffhanger involving his character. Apart from Fahadh, Sunil and other actors are also said to be doing negative shades in the film, and are expected to prominently feature in the first part.
It was previously reported that Bunny would be shooting for director Venu Sriram’s film, Icon, before he starts shooting for the second part of Pushpa. The script for the film is locked, and the shooting for the film is expected to begin in October, as the shoot of Pushpa is expected to end by September. It was previously said that there were differences within the team of Pushpa, about Bunny doing another film between the two parts, but seems like everything’s been sorted, and Bunny has decided to stick to his initial plan.
