Allu Arjun was arrested yesterday in connection with the Sandhya theatre stampede case. The Nampally court initially sent him to 14 days of remand but the Telangana High Court quickly granted him bail.
However due to delays in the formalities Allu Arjun had to spend the night in Chanchalguda jail. Early in the morning he was released and went to the Geetha Arts office. After discussing with his legal and PR team, he returned home.
When he reached home, he hugged his wife Sneha and son Ayaan. Later, he spoke briefly to the media.
Keeping his statement simple Arjun said “I’m doing fine and I thank everyone for their support. There is no need to worry. I respect the law and will fully cooperate. My condolences go out to the family affected by this tragedy”.
“It is a very unfortunate and unintentional incident. For 20 years, I have been watching films like this and such an event has never happened before. I’ll stand by the family during this tough time. Thank you once again for your support”.
