The Nampally Court has issued summons to all those named in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case. Allu Arjun had requested to attend the hearing virtually but the court directed him to appear in person on Monday.
Other accused have already appeared before the court while his lawyer attended the proceedings on his behalf today. The next hearing is scheduled for July 6th.
This case is linked to the tragic stampede which took place during the Pushpa 2 premiere at Sandhya Theatre.
A much large crowd was gathered for the event which led to a stampede situation that the police struggled to control.
Reports say Arjun is currently busy shooting for Raaka in Mumbai due to which he missed earlier proceedings. Following the incident, the government restricted special screenings and celebrations at RTC Crossroads.
