Allu Arjun had a lot of hopes riding on his recent release, Pushpa: The Rise, which marked his entry to the pan-Indian market. The movie was released among huge expectations, and while it received a very mixed response in the Telugu states, the same was not the case in the Tamil and Hindi markets, with the movie doing spectacular business in both those markets.
The success of Pushpa: The Rise, on a pan-Indian scale, was a complete surprise, and an absolute delight for everyone. As a result, the team of Pushpa started putting more effort into the sequel, Pushpa: The Rule. The post-production for the movie is currently underway, with sources recently confirming that director Sukumar locked an interesting end to the series.
It is now being said that the shooting of the film would begin in April, and that Bunny would be joining the sets of Pushpa: The Rule, from mid-April. The actor is currently on a vacation and will be back in Hyderabad this weekend. He is expected to meet Sukumar next week. On the other hand, Pushpa: The Rule, is set to release in December this year.
