Nandamuri Balakrishna’s upcoming film, Akhanda, directed by Boyapati Srinu, is all set to be released in theatres on December 2nd, marking the release of the first big-budget film in Tollywood, since the coronavirus pandemic. There are huge expectations on the film, as it marks the third collaboration between the blockbuster combination of Boyapati and Balayya, after Simha and Legend.
The songs, teasers, trailer, and looks released from Akhanda have also managed to increase the expectations on the film. Apart from that, the Telugu film industry as a whole is also looking at Akhanda, keeping an eye on the revenue that it would be collecting at the box office, which will help producers gauge audience reaction towards getting back to the theatres.
On the other hand, Icon Star Allu Arjun is also said to be very keen on the result of Akhanda, given that this would help him make a decision on his film with Boyapati. Bunny and Boyapati previously collaborated for Sarrainodu, which turned out to be a blockbuster success, and are now said to be joining hands for a second film.
