Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu met on the sets of Ye Maya Chesave, and have since acted in several films together. Samantha and Naga Chaitanya fell in love later on, and she changed her name to Samantha Akkineni on all of her social media platforms after her wedding to Chaitanya, which took place in 2017, in Goa.
Samantha recently changed her name to Samantha S on all of her social media platforms, and ever since then, there have been several discussions on why the actress did so. When asked the reason, the actress said that she would reveal the reason when the right time comes. In the meantime, there are several speculations that Samantha and Chaitanya are contemplating divorce, which is why the actress removed Akkineni from her name.
It is being said that the matter got so worse that Nagarjuna and Amala are said to have gotten involved and asked the couple to reconsider things instead of considering a divorce. On the other hand, it is also being said that S symbolizes Shaakuntalam, which is Samantha’s upcoming movie, directed by Gunasekhar. It is now to be seen which is true.
