All eyes already looking at October

Apart from Sharwanand’s Oke Oka Jeevitham, there hasn’t been a single notable release in the month of September, despite the many films that have been released so far.

There was decent buzz on Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali, directed by Indraganti Mohan Krishna, and featuring Sudheer Babu in the lead role, which was released yesterday. However, the film has turned out to be disappointing. With no other major movies set to be released in September anymore, all eyes have already shifted towards October.

Two of the most notable films set to be released in October are Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Godfather, and King Nagarjuna’s The Ghost. While Godfather looks promising enough, it is Nag’s The Ghost, that is carrying really good expectations around it. It is now to be seen how October will turn out to be for Tollywood, and how September will look for the industry, on the whole.
