Alia’s Honest Reply Before Falling In Love

During the promotions of Highway in 2014 Ranbir Kapoor once asked a young Alia Bhatt about love.

She said she had never been in love and clearly stated that she would never be with someone who stopped her from acting. She said acting was very much important to her and she wanted to continue it without restrictions and without fail.

Years later fate brought them together. The lovely pair Ranbir and Alia got married on April 14th 2022 in a simple and private ceremony at their Mumbai home and today marks their wedding anniversary.

Interestingly during that Highway promotion Ranbir was not even part of the film but joined for a video with Alia and director Imtiaz Ali.

Imtiaz later shared that he noticed a natural connection between them even back then.
