Bollywood star heroine Alia Bhatt’s film, Gangubhai Kathiawadi under the direction of ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali was earlier scheduled for a January 6th release. But as the heroine’s yet another film, RRR under the direction of SS Rajamouli is supposed to hit the screens on January 7th, the makers have pushed Gangubhai Kathiawadi’s release to February 18th.
Now, the latest news coming in from Bollywood sources is that considering the current surge in the Covid-19 cases, there are high chances for the film’s postponement indefinitely. An official announcement regarding the same is expected to be out soon.
Touted as a biographical crime drama, Gangubhai is bankrolled by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Jayantilal Gada jointly.
