Bollywood star heroine Alia Bhatt’s biographical crime drama, Gangubhai Kathiawadi was supposed to hit the screens in July itself but the Covid second wave crisis distrubed the film’s release plans. Meanwhile, this afternoon the makers have announced that the film will have its theatrical release on January 6th.
Being directed by Bollywood ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, in Gangubhai Kathiawadi, Alia Bhatt will be seen in a power-packed role of real-life ‘madam’ from a place named Kamatipura.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali himself is bankrolling Gangubhai Kathiawadi in association with Dr Jayantilal Gada. Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi in extended cameo roles.
