Actor Ali has apologized after a controversy over a Ghar soap advertisement.
Some people from the Hindu community felt hurt because the ad showed Ali performing a pooja for the soap, which they found inappropriate.
As criticism increased on social media actor Ali released a video saying sorry if the ad hurt anyone’s feelings. He explained that he never intended to hurt religious beliefs and asked people to understand his side.
Ali also requested the company to remove the advertisement immediately without fail.
The issue has now become widely discussed online with people sharing different opinions and reactions across social media platforms.
