Icon stAAr Allu Arjun’s 2020 blockbuster, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is being remade in Hindi with young hero Kartik Aaryan as Shehzada. Directed by Rohit Dhawan, Shehzada is actually scheduled for a February 10th release but the latest developments indicate that the release is pushed to February 17th. Allu Arjun’s father cum reputed producer Allu Arvind who was a co-producer for Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is the solo producer of Shehzada.
In mid-2022, the Goldmines Telefilms management owned by Manish Shah who has the dubbing satellite rights of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo planned to release the Hindi dubbed version in the theatres. Soon after knowing the news, Allu Arvind came into the picture and made Manish Shah drop the idea of releasing the Hindi dubbed version of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo in the theatres as it will affect the film’s Hindi remake, Shehzada.
However, Manish Shah later went for the Television premiere of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Now, the latest news is that Manish Shah is planning to release Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’s Hindi dubbed version on the “Goldmines” YouTube channel on February 2nd. If the news turns into reality, it will definitely show a considerable effect on Shehzada’s box office collections. As did earlier, will Allu Arvind land in Mumbai and stop Manish Shah from streaming the Hindi dubbed version of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo? Remains to be seen.
Coming back to Shehzada, the film has Kriti Sanon as the female lead. Also starring Paresh Rawal and Manisha Koirala in key roles, the promotional stuff of Shehzada has been receiving positive feedback from the netizens.
