Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo smashes TRP records!

Allu Arjun and Trivikram Srinivas’s film, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo has become a huge blockbuster this Sankranthi even when the competition from Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru was tough. It became Non-Baahubali Industry Hit in terms of box office returns. After that on OTT platforms, movie became one of the most watched films from Telugu Cinema, this year. Even though it was available on OTT platforms, it fetched a never before record for South Indian TV, with 29.4 TRP.

Even on the impressions list, it stood 4th on Pan-India level just behind Baahubali-2, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo with 21.9 impressions. It was able to beat Ajith’s Viswasam record of 18.4 impressions, by a large number. Baahubali-2 raked in more on National level while at regional level, it remains in Top 5. Sarileru Neekevvaru TV debut also fetched a record number and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo smashed it. Seems the two teams should be happy with the love they got from the public. We hope all the good natured competition has come to an end now.
