The actor has remade films from Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil. He acted in Tupakki remake, Holiday. Tagore remake Gabbar is Back, Vikramarkudu remake Rowdy Rathore. Rowdy Rathore is still his biggest hit and the actor is now looking to remake a more desi film and Katamarayudu as got his attention.
The movie did not become a hit in Telugu but the actor liked the concept and he wants to make necessary changes in Hindi. Katamarayudu is the remake of Thala Ajith ‘s movie Veeram but the actor feels Katamarayudu is better version than Veeram. Hence, he made producers buy the rights of both the movies and he will be releasing the movie some time next year. His latest Toilet Ek Prem Katha has become a hit in Bollywood that is going through crisis, due to lack of good hits.
