Bollywood star Akshay Kumar’s cop drama, Sooryavanshi has been awaiting the theatrical release for the past year. After repeated postponements, earlier this year, the makers have announced that the film will have its release in April 2021. But due to the sudden outbreak of Corona second wave, the film’s release was once again postponed indefinitely.
Meanwhile, the latest news circulating among Bollywood circles is that the makers are now aiming at Independent Day weekend release if the Covid situation returns to normalcy by then. As per the reports, the team is in no mood to go for a direct OTT streaming of the film as they opinion that Sooryavanshi is a larger-than-life film that deserves a theatrical experience.
This Rohit Shetty directorial has Kartina Kaif and the female lead. Bollywood stars Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh will be seen will make a special appearance along with Akshay in a thirty-minute action block. Reliance Entertainment banner bankrolled the movie.
