Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan are all set to share the screen once again in an upcoming film directed by Anees Bazmee as per reports. This project marks a special reunion as Akshay and Bazmee are working together after 14 years.
After weeks of speculation it has been confirmed that Vidya Balan has been signed as one of the leading ladies. Sources say the entire team welcomed this decision happily.
Akshay and Vidya are known for their easy and natural chemistry which audiences enjoyed. Their good off-screen bonding also played a part in this casting choice.
The film is expected to feature two strong female characters with Vidya playing a key role. While the story details and the second female lead are still under wraps, insiders say the film will balance comedy, emotion, and solid character moments which are a trademark of Anees Bazmee’s films.
This movie will be Akshay and Vidya’s first on-screen collaboration in six years. Meanwhile Akshay Kumar remains busy with multiple projects such as Welcome To The Jungle, Haiwaan and Bhooth Bhangla.
