Akshay Kumar Steps Up For Stuntmen

Akshay Kumar has done something truly inspiring off-screen. He has taken a big step to support the safety of stuntmen and stuntwomen in the Indian film industry.

Akshay has personally arranged health and accident insurance for over 650 action crew members across the country.

This thoughtful move comes after a tragic incident where a stuntman named Raju lost his life during a Tamil film shoot.

Many stunt artists work in dangerous conditions without proper safety gear or medical support. One injury can leave them in financial trouble, as most don’t have health insurance.

Thanks to Akshay’s effort, these stunt professionals now have coverage worth Rs. 5 to Rs. 5.5 lakh for medical treatment, even for off-set injuries.

Action director Vikram Singh Dahiya praised the initiative, saying it’s a big relief for the community. Akshay’s action sets a strong example for using fame to make a real difference.
