Akshay Kumar Starrer OMG 2 Teaser Released; Lord Shiva Comes to Rescue Family

OMG 2, starring Yami Gautam, Pankaj Tripathi, and Akshay Kumar, is the most eagerly anticipated movie of 2023. It is a follow-up to the popular 2012 film Oh My God starring Akshay and Paresh Rawal and was written and directed by Amit Rai. Akshay and the entire team teased fans with first-look posters before releasing the teaser a while back on social media.

Akshay certainly looks great as Lord Shiva. He accurately captures the details and appearance of the character. The teaser opens with a powerful voiceover by Pankaj Tripathi and first-movie stills of Akshay and Paresh. Pankaj and his family are seen in the film suffering through difficult circumstances, and that is when Akshay, dressed as Lord Shiva, enters their lives. Akshay says, “Rakh vishwas tu hai shiva ka das,” to Pankaj in one of the scenes as he stands outside the court. Yami is not depicted in the teaser, therefore the producers decided to keep her a secret. The hard-hitting social comedy seems to be the ideal fusion of amusement, drama, and feelings.

Internet users were observed responding to the teaser shortly after it was uploaded on social media. They may be seen praising it. “Kya baat hai mind blowing teaser hai sir,” one person wrote. Mahadev, Har Har. One more person commented, “Finally, OMG2 teaser is here, Har Har Mahadev.” Also gushing with appreciation for Akshay was Tiger Shroff. With “Guru jii” and the emojis for fire and heart, he made a comment.

In the beginning on July 12, Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible 7 in India will be accompanied by the teaser OMG 2. On August 11, the Akshay-starring film will open in theatres. It will compete with Gadar 2 by Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel. The same day had already been set aside for the release of Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor. But recently, the movie’s creators stated that the new release date is December 1.
