Akshay Kumar Reunites With Tabu After 25 Years On Sets Of Bhooth Bangla

Filmmaker Priyadarshan’s upcoming horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla has generated massive excitement among fans ever since its announcement. One of the most exciting aspects that makes the movie even more special is the reunion of Akshay Kumar and Tabu on screen.

Yes, you heard that right! Akshay Kumar and Tabu are reuniting for Priyadarshan’s Bhooth Bangla after 25 years. The two actors, over the years, have been consistently winning hearts with their stellar performances, and their reunion after such a long time will surely create some massive stir at the box office.

On January 15, Balaji Motion Pictures took to their social media page to share an adorable photo of Akshay Kumar hugging Tabu on the sets of the movie in Jaipur. Sharing the pic, they captioned it, “Some things get better and iconic with time! @priyadarshan.official , @akshaykumar and @tabutiful are back in action after 25 years for #BhootBangla in Jaipur.”

For the unaware, Akshay and Tabu previously worked in classic cult films like Hera Pheri and Tu Chor Main Sipahi. Therefore, watching them again on the screen together will undoubtedly be a treat for the fans. Interestingly, it also marks the comeback of the hit trio of director Priyadarshan, Akshay, and Tabu, who last worked together in Hera Pheri.

Helmed by Priyadarshan, Bhooth Bangla is produced by Ektaa Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms and Akshay Kumar’s production house, Cape of Good Films. It also stars Paresh Rawal, Jisshu Sengupta, and Wamiqa Gabbi in key roles.

The horror-comedy is slated to release on 2nd April 2026.
