‘Jeetenge’ is hailed as an uplifting anthem. The thematic overlap between “Kesari” and “Mission Raniganj” makes this partnership even more noteworthy. The subjects of inspiration and real-life success stories are explored in both films.
The amazing story of Late Jaswant Singh Gill is brought to the big screen by the movie Mission Raniganj. In the recently released trailer, Parineeti Chopra, who was recently married, is paired up with Akshay Kumar, who plays Jaswant Singh Gill in a completely different avatar.
Kumud Mishra, Pavan Malhotra, Ravi Kishan, Varun Badola, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Rajesh Sharma, Virendra Saxena, Shishir Sharma, Ananth Mahadevan, Jameel Khan, Sudhir Pandey, Bachan Pachera, Mukesh Bhatt, and Omkar Das Manikpuri all appear in the movie in addition to Akshay Kumar.
It describes a true story that happened at the Raniganj Coalfield in November 1989, when miners trapped in a coalmine were rescued. In Raniganj, the rescue of all the trapped miners from a flooded coal mine was made possible in large part by Jaswant Singh Gill. Mission Raniganj: The Great Bharat Rescue, a movie directed by Tinu Suresh Desai and featuring music by Jjust Music, is set to open in theatres on October 6. It was produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Ajay Kapoor.
