Akshay Kumar And Priyadarshan Reunite For A Thriller

Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan known for their hit comedy films are now joining hands for an exciting thriller.

After working together on many memorable movies they are set to collaborate again, this time for the Hindi remake of the Malayalam film Oppam which originally starred Mohanlal.

Sources reveal that Akshay immediately agreed when Priyadarshan offered him the remake. Adding to the excitement, Saif Ali Khan will also play a lead role making this a strong two-hero film.

The story is expected to be intense and packed with twists. The film is scheduled to begin shooting in August 2025 and will follow a non-stop schedule.

The makers are planning to release the film in the second half of 2026. Fans of Akshay and Priyadarshan can look forward to a fresh take in a different genre from their usual comedy collaborations.
