The suspense is over. Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection (HYDRA) has decided to demolish N Convention, ending the debate over whether it would be torn down.
HYDRA officials are carefully carrying out the demolition in Madhapur, ensuring tight security.
N Convention, owned by film star Akkineni Nagarjuna, has been a hot topic since HYDRA began targeting illegal constructions in Hyderabad.
There have been claims that N Convention was built on Thammidikunta Lake, leading to demands from environmentalists and public groups for its demolition.
Even Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had previously accused Nagarjuna of encroaching on a water body when he was in opposition.
Now, under Revanth Reddy’s Congress government, N Convention located in Madhapur is being demolished.
