Akhil‘s popular nickname “Ayyagaru” has a special story behind it. It was first used by his loyal fan Nagaraju, whose emotional praise for Akhil went much viral and later became a popular meme.
Since then, fans have lovingly called Akhil “Ayyagaru”. Akhil has also spoken about Nagaraju’s support in several interviews.
During the Lenin success event in Guntur, Nagaraju finally met Akhil inside his caravan. Overcome with emotion he broke down in tears and touched Akhil’s feet.
Akhil comforted him and said that Nagaraju was the reason the name “Ayyagaru” became so much famous. He even introduced Nagaraju to his wife.
The heartwarming video has now gone viral, and Akhil’s wife delighted fans by saying, “Ayyagare Number One.”
