Akhil’s Agent to arrive for Independence Day

Akhil Akkineni, scored a success at long last, last year, with Most Eligible Bachelor, directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar. The film was much delayed but hit all the right notes upon its release. While the film was a success, it wasn’t a blockbuster success, which Akhil has been trying has been to score, and is hoping his upcoming film, Agent, would do.

Agent, directed by Surender Reddy, is a spy thriller, where Akhil would be seen as a spy. The actor got very ripped to play the part and has been looking fierce in all of the promotional material released so far. The team of Agent revealed the release date of the film today, along with a new poster. The film would be released on August 12th, for Independence Day.

Malayalam superstar Mammootty is playing an important role in the film and has recently joined the sets of Agent. Sakshi Vaidya is the leading lady of this film, which is being produced under the AK Entertainments banner.
