Akhil Akkineni has made a comeback to the Telugu Cinema, after a debacle like Akhil – The Power of Jua, his debut film. He did take his time to set up the right story, right combination in his home production banner, Annapurna Studios, under the guidance of his father, Akkineni Nagarjuna. Whole Annapurna Studios staff and film crew are credited for putting up a good show with the young actor and giving him a good film for his second one.
The movie directed by Vikram Kumar got a good mouth talk in major cities and Overseas. Mainly, the overseas market has reacted very well to the movie and with just premieres, the movie has collected more than US$200k. The collections from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are good too. Over the weekend the improvement in the occupancies and theatres is expected with the positive word of mouth. Also, the movie being a heart touching romance with fun filled action sequences, the audience are warming up to the theatres as the talk is spreading.
Mainly, Akhil is gaining all the appreciation after an underwhelming response for his performance in first film. He has erased all those bad memories and with a settled and subtle performance, he made sure that he is in the race for long run and he will be the star for future definitely. Also, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Ramyakrishnan are getting major applause for their performances and Vikram Kumar is credited for delivering a clever movie, that serves as an introduction to Akhil and also, as a compelling film.
