Akhil hits the coveted Million mark

Akkineni Akhil, with Hello made a good second impression after failing to make it on the first attempt, with Akhil. His father, Akkineni Nagarjuna produced the movie in the direction of Vikram Kumar. The movie is attracting some audience still after the holiday season and even though fans expected it to be doing even better, the content being restricted to ‘A’ centre audience, the movie did better than expected in the competition with a popular star film.

The film has crossed 1 Million mark at USA market and the distributors are happy that the movie did such a good business. Earlier, Nagarjuna established a good market for his films by touching 1.5 Million dollars mark in USA with two films, namely, Manam and Oopiri. Now, Hello, becomes the third film from an Akkineni hero to cross the one Million mark.

Akhil is now getting ready to announce his third film and it is expected to be finalised on 10th of January. As off now, Akhil is enjoying the success of the film and New Year holidays with his family. He will return to Hyderabad on Thursday and join in discussions from Friday to finalise his next film. RamyaKrishnan, Jagapathi Babu, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Anup Rubens made an impact with the film and P.S.Vinod once again gave an example for his talent.
