Akhil finally manages to do it this time around!

Akhil Akkineni has been struggling to score a hit since his debut film. While his acting, dancing and other skills have been hailed in every film that he featured in, he hasn’t been able to score a success until now. His much delayed, and much-anticipated film, Most Eligible Bachelor, was released for Dussehra and has managed to become a good success, marking Akhil’s first hit in his career.

Written and directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar, Pooja Hegde can be seen as the leading lady of the film, Vibha, a standup comedian, who makes Akhil’s character, Harsha, see a different world, making him fall in love with her, head over heels. The rest of the story deals with how Harsha manages to end up with Vibha, and the conflicts that arise in between.

Considering the fact that people are still wary of coronavirus, and the footfalls, and the longevity of films in theatres these days, MEB is doing quite well for itself, with packed houses, and a good collection at the box office. It also has a good word of mouth going for it. It now remains to be seen how big of a success this will turn out to be for Akhil, in the days to come.
