Tholiprema released in February on 10th, became a big hit for Raashi Khanna and Varun Tej. The movie became a career defining success for both of them as their previous successes are not attributed to their performances but for other aspects. Even director Venky Atluri earned a huge name for his fresh writing in the movie. The movie became a happy memory for each and every one involved.
Now, Akhil after two not so highly positive movies he became very choosy for his next. He announced previously that he will come up with an announcement in January but the stories did not work out. He heard further from many and connected with Venky Atluri’s script. The actor himself confirmed this through twitter,

Venky Atluri too announced it on his Facebook page and the film is set to take off from May, once the complete cast and crew is locked. The movie is expected to release by the end of this year or early next year. Akhil wants to look fresh and different from Hello, as this movie has a completely new feel to it than Hello. The other details will be announced by the team before they go on floors from May first or second week.
