Akkineni Akhil has been trying to get his first big hit after his first two films failed at box office. His first one had him playing a character that saves world even though he is young in age. The movie gathered him some negative reputation and he decided to wait for a good script as long as he can and even sharpened his skills like Dialogue Delivery.
The next film, Hello gave him a good word from critics about his action skills and improved acting skills. Even though movie did not give him the hit remark, it did give a positive foot note to move forward. When Nagarjuna, when first faced such situation after his sensational debut, he became the loveable lover boy on screen in Majnu and that movie helped him set things up for his next big movies..
Now, Akhil too is owning the lover boy image that his looks automatically grants him. The character in his third film, will have shades of ANR’s character from the movie, Prem Nagar it seems. Venky Atluri of Tholi prema is directing the movie and it completed the London schedule recently. Movie is titled as Mr. Majnu according to few gossips and the team is planning for December release as per sources.
