Akhil got married to his long-time girlfriend Zainab Ravdjee on Friday morning. The wedding was held in a simple and private ceremony at their Jubilee Hills home in Hyderabad attended by close friends and family members from the Akkineni clan.
Many well known personalities were present, including Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Rajamouli, Sharwanand, director Prashanth Neel, and cricketer Tilak Varma.
Some prominent politicians were also invited. Nagarjuna had personally invited the Chief Ministers of both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana last week.
Akhil and Zainab have been in a relationship for over three years. Zainab hails from a reputed family, her father Zulfi Ravdjee is a big name in the construction sector, and her brother Zain Ravdjee heads a renewable energy company. Zainab is also an artist and entrepreneur in the perfume business.
A grand reception is planned on the 8th at Annapurna Studios.
