Akhil Akkineni injured on Most Eligible Bachelor set, shoot on hold

Akhil Akkineni is waiting to score a big hit so he can cement himself as a bankable actor in Tollywood. So far, all his films have been average grossers, which is quite disappointing. The actor has pinned all his hopes on his upcoming film, Most Eligible Bachelor, directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar. The shooting of this romantic comedy is currently underway. While shooting for a comic action sequence, Akhil is said to have injured himself on his elbow. Reportedly, his elbow is swollen because of which the shooting has been put on hold till March 10.

Akhil was rushed to the hospital after the injury where he was treated by the doctors. He has been advised to take rest for about a week and then get back to work on March 10. The film has Pooja Hegde essaying the role of an NRI stand-up comedienne. The film is jointly produced by Bunny Vas and Vasu Varma. Most Eligible Bachelor, which has music scored by Gopi Sundar, is slated to hit the theatres sometime in May. The first look posters of Most Eligible Bachelor received a lot of positive feedback from the audience.
