Akhil Akkineni has been talk of the town for quite some time now. He made headlines by cracking top endorsement deals even before his first film release with all the hype and expectations from his cricket glory. But the tables turned on him when he had to face a delay in release for his first film and when it became a disaster.The movie did receive a good initial but Akhil acquired criticism for his acting and praises for his ease in dancing and action episodes. But the debacle hurt him very badly and he is now being extra cautious with his decisions. He went into a hibernation from the past year making few public appearances and few announcements.
But no announcement of his materialised regarding his second movie until his father Akkineni Nagarjuna took matters into his hands and with the aid of Allu Aravind locked Manam Vikram Kumar for Akhil’s relaunch under his home production Annapurna Studios. Vikram recently got married and after taking time off with his lady love, now he is back to work.
As per the reliable sources, the story discussions are in the final stage and Nagarjuna after listening for the whole script gave few additions and suggestions it seems. In order to accommodate them Vikram asked for some more time and said the final draft will be locked by December only. So Nagarjuna is now planning to start the film in January as opposed to initial plans of November start. Nagarjuna is now busy with 12 days schedule for his Om Namo Venkatesaya in Mahabaleshwar .
