The shooting for Akhanda, the highly-anticipated mass actioner starring Nandamuri Balakrishna was temporarily halted due to the ongoing Corona second wave circumstances. A couple of days back, news has gone viral that despite Corona hard times, the team is gearing up to resume the shooting for this month 12th but there is no official update on it later.
On the other hand, the makers have already announced that the film will be hitting the screens on May 28th but with the delay in the shooting and Covid restrictions, it is evident that the film will be postponed further. Now, the latest news coming in from film circles is that Akhanda makers are planning to release the film in the month of August if the situation returns to normalcy by then. An official announcement regarding the same is awaited soon.
Being helmed by Boyapati Seenu, Akhanda has Pragya Jaiswal and Poorna as the female leads. Miryala Ravinder Reddy is bankrolling this high-budget movie. Thaman is the music composer.
