Akhanda to occupy the release date of this biggie?

Icon Star Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s Pushpa is slated to hit the screens on December 17th. But a couple of weeks back news came out that the film is likely to skip the announced release date. We also reported the same then.

Now, the fresh update coming in from trade circles is that Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Seenu’s upcoming film, Akhanda is aiming for a December 17th release. If Akhanda comes on 17th, then Pushpa will not be releasing on the same day as the clash will effect the box office prospects of both the films. However, an official announcement regarding Akhanda’s release date and postponement of Pushpa is yet to be out.

Yesterday, news also came out that due to technical issues Pushpa’s Hindi version may not have a simultaneous release. Now, with Akhanda looking at the December 17th release date it is almost confirmed that Pushpa’s release will be postponed further.
