Looks like there is no stopping for Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda roar at the ticket windows anytime soon. Already the film has collected a worldwide share of more than Rs 45 crore by the end of its first weekend. Despite being Monday, the film collections are good across twin states with more than sixty percent occupancy in all major cities, say trade reports.
On the other hand, Akhanda has posted a whopping of $814,212 by the end of its first weekend run at the US box office. Reportedly, the film has high chances to touch $1 million in its long run in the USA. In other overseas markets like Australia, UK and UAE, the film is performing extremely well and has already entered into the profits zone.
Meanwhile, the latest news is that the team is planning to organize the overseas success celebrations of Akhanda in Dubai. Reports suggest that earlier the team thought of arranging the overseas success tour in the US but due to the current travel restrictions, the team has decided to hold the event in Dubai. An official announcement regarding the same is expected to be out shortly.
