Akhanda registers career-best opening for Balakrishna

Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Seenu’s high voltage action drama, Akhanda has hit the screens yesterday. Opened to decent reports, the film has registered career-best opening for Balayya in twin Telugu states.

As per the trade reports, Akhanda has collected Rs14.61 crore share on its first day with a gross of close to Rs 20 crore at the ticket windows in Telugu states. The film marks career-best opening for Balakrishna beating the 2017 released film, GPSK’s Rs 9.76 crore. Yet another interesting aspect is that Akhanda has emerged as the first film to witness the above-mentioned amount post 2nd wave.
