Director Boyapati Srinu always satisfies his fans with out and out commercial and mass entertainers, which appeal greatly to the audiences. However, his most recent offering, Vinaya Vidheya Rama, starring Ram Charan in the lead role, failed to impress the audiences, turning out to be a huge disaster. After the film, Boyapati teamed up with Nandamuri Balakrishna for the third time, after Simha and Legend. Given that their previous films were both massive successes, there are good expectations for their upcoming film Akhanda.
Actor Srikanth is playing the lead antagonist in the film, while Jagapathi Babu plays an important role, and Pragya Jaiswal is the leading lady of the film. Actress Poorna is also playing an important role in Akhanda, in which Balakrishna will be seen in two roles, one of which is that of an Aghora. According to the latest reports, Jagapathi Babu will be seen playing the role of Aghora Sadhu, who helps Balakrishna’s character recover from problems.
On the other hand, it is being said that Pragya’s role in the film is going to be a very important one, which will take the story forward. Speaking to the media recently, Pragya said that while some films are not dependant on the female character, Akhanda is different and that her character is very much essential to the story. Pragya’s character and Jagapathi Babu’s character are said to be the main highlights of the film.
