With just two days left for release, Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2: Thandavam is getting ready for a massive opening.
Directed by Boyapati Srinu, the film is a mix of mass action and devotional elements, with Samyuktha playing the lead actress.
The movie releases on December 12th and advance bookings in the USA have been extremely strong.
In the first six hours alone, the film collected $125,000 in North America pre-sales, making it the fastest Telugu film to reach that mark. Over 7,200 tickets were sold during this period, showing the huge global excitement for the sequel.
In Andhra Pradesh bookings are being opened in phases. In Telangana, ticket sales are yet to start but are expected to go live later today.
Premieres begin tomorrow and fans are waiting to watch Balayya in his powerful Aghora avatar. It is produced by 14 Reels Plus and will release in 3D with music by Thaman.
