The makers of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s highly anticipated Akhanda 2 have officially postponed its release.
The film was earlier scheduled for September 25th, but the team announced that it will now release later, without confirming the new date. With Pawan Kalyan’s OG also targeting the same date, the delay for Akhanda 2 was expected.
According to the production house more time is needed for re-recording, VFX and other post-production work to deliver the best cinematic experience.
They assured fans that the wait will be worth it and promised the film will exceed expectations. Though there is speculation about a December release nothing is confirmed yet.
Akhanda 2 is the sequel to Akhanda, which became one of the biggest hits post-Covid. With SS Thaman composing the music the teaser has already set high expectations among fans and movie lovers.
