Balakrishna’s highly awaited Akhanda 2 was supposed to release today, but the team suddenly stopped the release because of unexpected problems.
This disappointed fans, and soon many rumours began spreading about why the film was delayed. Producer Suresh Babu has now clarified the situation.
Speaking at the press meet of Psych Siddhartha, which he is presenting, Suresh Babu said the delay is due to financial issues and not something to be discussed openly.
He mentioned that too many business-related details are being talked about in public, which is unnecessary. He added that the audience should simply focus on watching the film, while financial matters should be handled internally. He also said such issues have existed even in earlier times and can be solved with proper planning.
Suresh Babu confirmed that only financial hurdles caused the delay. The team is now waiting for an official update from 14 Reels Plus, who are resolving their pending issues with Eros International.
