A 2-minute video song, Akdi Pakdi from Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday’s upcoming film, Liger is released by the makers this afternoon. At the first glance, the song looks like a dance number and Vijay is seen doing some floor movements in it.
Heroine Ananya Panday is seen as a glamorous doll and is impressive with his dances. Tune composed by the music trio Lijo George, DJ Chetas and Sunil Kashyap is just okay. The lyrics penned by Mohsin Shaikh and Azeem Dayani are adequate. Vocals by Dev Nagi, Pawni Pandey and Lijo George provide some energy to the song. Overall, Akdi Pakdi is just a dance number we have to wait and see how it manages to impress the audience after the film’s release.
Directed by Puri Jagannadh, Liger is all set for a pan-India release on August 25th. Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar and Charmee’s Puri Connects banner jointly bankrolling this boxing drama. The film also has Hollywood boxing champion Mike Tyson and Ramya Krishnan in key roles.
