A project is the combination of Kollywood star Ajith Kumar and director Vignesh Shivn was formally announced earlier last year. Tentatively titled AK62, Lyca Productions banner was on board to bankroll the movie.
Later, due to reasons unknown Vignesh Shivn was replaced with Magizh Thirumeni. Magizh Thirumeni, the talented director who earlier directed thrillers such as Thadaiyara Thaakka, Meaghamann, Thadam, and Kalaga Thalaivan is keen on delivering a similar kind of film with Ajith Kumar. Reports also came out that the team has locked Devil as the film’s title.
Noted director PS Mithran who earlier delivered social dramas like Irumbu Thirai ( Abhimanyudu in Telugu), Sivakarthikeyan’s Hero, and Maruthi’s Sardar is providing the story for this highly-anticipated movie. Lyca Productions is on board to produce #AK62. Anirudh will be scoring soundtracks for the film which is likely to go on the floors this month.
Now , the latest buzz is that the film’s title will be announced tomorrow officially. However,an official announcement regarding the same is awaited.
