Ajmal Ameer, known for his roles in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam films made his Tamil debut with February 14th and gained attention with Mysskin’s Anjathe.
He has since acted in several films including GOAT alongside Thalapathy Vijay. His latest release Accused received mixed reviews.
Recently Ajmal has become embroiled in controversy after an audio clip went viral on social media. In it a man’s voice is heard speaking inappropriately to a woman and many claim it is Ajmal’s.
He is also accused of sending indecent messages to women on Instagram with some screenshots shared online as evidence. The audio reportedly includes personal questions and comments meant to disturb the woman despite her discomfort.
Fans and netizens have expressed shock and disappointment. The authenticity of the audio and messages is not yet confirmed and some suggest it could be false propaganda. A proper investigation is awaited making this a major debate in Ajmal Ameer’s career.
