Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 2 Box Office Status

Released on November 18th, Bollywood star Ajay Devgn starrer Drishyam 2 is running in the theatres with positive word of mouth. As per the trade reports from Mumbai, Drishyam 2 has collected a gross of Rs 100 crore within the first week. Reports suggest that the film is still continuing the same momentum in the weekdays as well.

As per the latest reports, Drishyam 2 will breach Rs 150 crore mark today. Trade is confident that the film will collect Rs 200 crore by the end of this weekend. On the other hand, Drishyam 2 is minted decent revenues in overseas also. Directed by Abhishek Pathak, Drishyam 2 has Tabu, Shriya Saran, Akshaye Khanna, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav and Rajat Kapoor in key roles. The film is an official remake of the 2021 Malayalam film of the same title.

Starring Mohanlal in the lead role, Drishyam 2 had a direct-to-OTT release on Amazon Prime Video last year due to the Covid crisis. The Drishyam franchise was created by Malayalam filmmaker Jeethu Joseph in 2015 with the first installment, Drishyam is well-established news.
